It was AMAZING yet also very scary!!
Firstly it took us ages to find the place, for a secret nuclear bunker it was very well hidden!
To get inside we went through a big tunnel and all gathered in this canteen, I went with my sister (it was her birthday present from me!) and there were about 30 of us in total – I was scared already! – we were introduced to our guides for the evening, Marc a spirit medium, his wife and another lady who was a sensitive (can sense spooky stuff!) The place itself was brilliant, all the lights were off so we all had to go round by torch light, we were given a little tour and the medium man told us what he sensed in different rooms, we would be investigating on 3 floors, the bottom floor which was a long tunnel, the 2nd floor which had all communications rooms and the 1st floor which was the hospital area and bunks – eeep!!
On our tour we were told about 3 spirits that were already following us around and my sister of all people saw a shadowy shape moving back and forth in one of the communications rooms, Marc saw it too and we all tried to see it – I couldn’t! – but apparently it was a man walking backwards and forwards carrying a tray and a small child sat in the corner!! Kind of glad I couldn’t see it! we also head whistling and footsteps when we were stood still and listening which was pretty cool!
Later we were divided into groups and investigated one floor at a time, we went to the tunnel first along with the ‘sensitive’ woman it was SO scary down there and really really dark! We did a thing with a glass on a table and had someone called ‘George’ move it around the table (not a Ouija board) which was brilliant and heard the whistling again! Then she got us to hold hands in a circle to build up energy and she asked for any spirits to come near, my sister again saw something fuzzy at the end of the tunnel that got closer and closer to our circle, the woman and some others saw it too (I still couldn’t!) and apparently it went in to the middle of the circle and touched the man who was next to me on the face!! My sister could totally see all this!! They also saw a little boy playing and jumping about at the end of the corridor. We all also head some tapping and murmuring voices coming from upstairs! To be honest I was glad to leave that area, it was super creepy and absolutely freezing cold!!
We then investigated the 2nd floor with the medium man, did another experiment with the glass, this time it was whizzing really fast round the table and we also had a stone and a nail thrown at us! My sister saw another shadowy shape, that looked like a man who kept moving from one door to another and smirking at her, the medium said he saw exactly the same thing!! We heard yet more random whistling, some scratching on the table and some other weird sounds!
Lastly we went on the first floor in the hospital bit which was really still, we heard some tapping but didn’t see anything and spent some time on the bunks which was actually quite scary especially when its pitch black!! At the end we all went in to the tunnel together and saw some moving shadows, stones being thrown and some more strange sounds!
We had some time to investigate by ourselves although we didn’t get very far, every room we went in we ran back out of, it was way to creepy going around just the 2 of us!! To finish the night we watch some people take part in the spirit board (Ouija board) and it moved quite a bit and spelled out a name and pointed to places in the room where the spirit was supposed to be stood!! We had brilliant time, I can’t believe my sister saw so much!!
