I bought these lovely china snowflakes to send as gifts this year - I now know I usually only send presents that I would like to receive and I would LOVE to receive decorations!
Anyway I found these pretty snowflakes but I was put off by the fact they were matt in appearance and very rough to touch, a bit like that horrible feeling of terricotta.....ick!
So to sort this out immediately I gave each flake a liberal coating of PVA and voila! They have a nice shine to them and suddenly feel very tactile and smooth, lovely!
They are now exactly what I wanted and ready to send out.
Funny how something so simple can make such a BIG difference huh?
